Weekend in Budapest, Verőce, National Gallop

The National Gallop was held between 14th and 18th September. I spent that weekend at Budapest.  As I have no lessons on Friday, I could travel to Budapest on Thursday evening. On Friday we went to Verőce as my bf's parents are on a holiday there. It's not really a holiday as they live there from April until November so it's like a second home. I find it very boring..This cottage is outside the village and if you want to buy something you have to walk about 20 mins until you get to the center of the village...Btw, the village is very nice and I guess the ppl are friendly.. When we go there we always travel by train as it's easier and there is a train in every hours. It takes about 45 mins to get there and  the Slovenian border is not far away.

haha, I slept during the afternoon, and after I woke up we left in an hour. Thanks God :D It was really really  boring..We arrived home at about  9 pm.

On Saturday the National Gallop was held. Okay, actually it started on 14th September. I thought it would be more exciting but it wasn't. After 20 mins we went for a walk in the city park because I wanted to buy some postcard. You know I'm really into this postcard thing.
When we walked home at about 2 pm, we walked through Andrássy street. That day on the street there weren't cars or buses as it was closed because a fair was held there. OMG, it was extremely crowded!! it took 45 mins to get home. Okay, we took some photos and looked around but I couldn't enjoy it because of the crowd. There were small children everywhere and the parents stopped with their baby carriages on the middle of the street and you could hardly move. So so annoying!!! I really felt sorry for the dogs as well. They were soo frightened :( Especially the smaller ones. I would never take my dog with me to places like this. Btw, there were a lots of pavilions where you could buy food and small gifts. There were also touristic pavilions where you could get information about a certain place and its team as every team represented a village or city.
I can't wait the Christmas fair in December (:
